Key Responsibilities
* Move and implement large enterprise equipment.
* Install fiber and copper cabling and patch between equipment.
* Maintain safety and security standards during cabling and rack installation.
* Follow established hardware installation procedures and break‑fix activities.
* Use material handling tools and equipment safely.
* Travel within the regional work area.
Physical Requirements
* Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds; group lifts for 41+ pounds.
* Work in a 24/7 environment; participate in primary responder rotation and after‑hours support.
* Operate in cramped, elevated, noisy environments.
* Bend, lift, stretch, reach, stand, walk up to 8+ hours a day.
* Ascend and descend ladders, stairs, and gangways safely.
Technical Experience
* 18+ months in a data center or critical environment.
* Experience with copper and optical fiber cabling, switches, and routers.
* Experience with fiber handling and installation processes.
Essential Requirements
* Travel to or commute between data center locations as needed.
* Willingness to temporarily work at alternative sites during training periods.
* Travel frequency varies based on business needs.
Basic Qualifications
* Experience with network hardware: copper and optical fiber cabling, switches, routers.
* 18+ months experience in a data center or critical environment.
* 18+ months experience with fiber handling and fiber installation processes.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in a data center or other critical environment.
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional or military experience in an IT‑related field.
* Certifications in a relevant field (CCENT, Network+, CCNA).
* Behavioral interviewing and hiring experience.
* Ability to work on a flexible schedule including days, nights, and/or weekends.

Compensation
The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.

Relocation Stipend
