This Position reports to:

Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to purchase materials according to required technical specifications, price, delivery schedule, and terms. Each day, you will ensure purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures.
You will also showcase your expertise by identifying new suppliers in cooperation with the relevant category team.
The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid
This role is contributing to the MOSE Division in Vittuone, Italy.
Main stakeholders are external suppliers (direct/indirect), other division of Motion Business Area.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Initiating Purchase Orders in the system, according to the purchase requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures, and confirming delivery with suppliers, monitoring, and tracking supplier performance to PO requirements.
- Negotiating agreements with main suppliers, and periodically renews price lists and terms and conditions.
- Recommending frame agreements to management and executing upon approval.
- Analyzing and evaluating bids to determine the optimal value.
- Managing indirect orders and projects for MO Business Area
- Governance of Supply Chain P2P procedures (Corporate, Business and Local), being able to summarize and elaborate related documentation
Qualifications for the role
- You have at least 1 year of experience in Purchase Department or related functions
- Ability to demonstrate your experience in SAP transitions, Ariba Tools for suppliers and invoice management system (Basware)
- Ability to demonstrate your experience in negotiation with internal functions and third parties, both local and global
- Possess an enhanced knowledge of electrical motors and related production process
- Degree in Economy/Engineering Fields
- You are passionate about problem-solving, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement
- You are at ease communicating in Italian and English
- Willingness to travel in order to visit suppliers
