We are currently seeking a Synthetic Environment System Engineer, who will be responsible for developing models for Synthetic Environments within the Modelling & Simulation area.
Main Responsibilities:
Development of algorithmic models for Synthetic Environments;
Creation of mathematical models related to rational mechanics, natural phenomena, and, more generally, phenomena in the fields of mechanics and electronics;
Application of numerical techniques and methodologies used in dynamic simulation;
Drafting documentation related to aerial, ground, and naval vehicles;
Software integration and testing;
Preparation of technical specifications and documentation in English;
Participation in meetings.
Required Technical Skills:
Advanced knowledge of Matlab-Simulink and the automatic code generation process (C and C++) in a Windows environment;
Specialized knowledge in aeronautical engineering (flight mechanics and aerodynamics);
Understanding of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) techniques;
Familiarity with technologies related to distributed simulation systems (HLA & DIS).
Optional Technical Skills:
Experience in developing mathematical models;
Experience in creating flight models for aircraft and weapon systems.
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering or Computer Science.
