Role description
As a Workplace Services Intern (Leading to a permanent position), you’ll play an important role in our Workplaces & End-user Services Team. From our headquarters in Milan, you’ll collaborate to provide premium help desk support to our employees.
Key responsibilities:
Prometeon Tyre Group is looking for a Workplace Services Intern to join the Workplaces & End-user Services Team in the Group Head Quarter in Milan. The candidate will support the team by focusing on activities that maintain and improve our workplace services to ensure a smooth and efficient working environment, including:
* Provide first-level helpdesk support for Windows and Apple mobile devices.
* Configure and maintain printers, devices, and workplace technology.
* Assist with basic networking tasks and troubleshooting.
* Manage office supplies and IT equipment inventory.
* Support new employee on boarding by setting up workstations and necessary software.
* Collaborate with the IT team to resolve technical issues and improve service delivery.
* Conduct routine maintenance and updates for software and hardware.
* Provide training and support to employees on using workplace technology.
* Assist in documenting technical processes and procedures for the helpdesk.
Qualifications required:
The ideal candidate meets the following requirements:
* Technical diploma or pursuing/recently completed a degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field is a plus.
* Reliable and quick learner with a minimum background in IT. Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Proactive and eager to learn new technologies.
* Understanding of Windows OS and troubleshooting.
* Good knowledge of Apple mobile devices. Familiarity with handling Apple devices, including phone replacement.
* Familiarity with printer setup and maintenance; experience in managing a domain and replacing PCs.
* Experience in corporate helpdesk support is a plus.
* Ability to interact with all employees at the Headquarters of a multinational company, supporting a cross-functional HQ role.
* The ideal candidate is proficient in Italian and has at least an intermediate level of English.
* Full-time presence required.
