We are seeking an experienced Senior Recruiter to support hiring across Italy as part of the Global Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence. This role will report to the Sr Director of Global Talent Acquisition and will manage end-to-end recruitment for a diverse portfolio of positions, including factory/operations roles and professional/salaried roles, with a strong focus on manufacturing and engineering talent. Experience within the Medical Technology (MedTech) or regulated manufacturing sector is a plus.
The successful candidate will be a bilingual professional (Italian and English) with a strong working knowledge of Italian labor legislation and Metalworking Industry Collective Agreement. This individual will partner closely with local business leaders, Regional HR leader, HR Business Partners, and Global TA stakeholders to deliver compliant, high-quality hiring aligned with both local requirements and Global TA standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition & Stakeholder Partnership
1. Partner with business leaders, hiring managers, and HR to understand hiring needs and deliver effective recruitment strategies aligned to business objectives;
2. Act as a trusted talent advisor, providing guidance on market conditions, talent availability, and hiring best practices;
3. Manage full-cycle recruitment across a broad range of roles, including;
4. Factory and operations roles (production, warehouse, maintenance, etc.;
5. Professional and corporate roles (engineering, supply chain, quality, R&D, marketing, commercial, and support functions).
Sourcing & Candidate Management
6. Proactively source and engage candidates using multiple channels, including job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, agencies, and direct search;
7. Conduct thorough candidate screening, interviews, and assessments to ensure high-quality and compliant hiring decisions;
8. Deliver an exceptional candidate experience from first contact through offer acceptance and onboarding.
Compliance & Labor Law Expertise
9. Ensure hiring practices comply with Italian labor legislation, including permanent and fixed-term contracts;
10. Apply and interpret relevant Collective Agreement (“”) during the recruitment and offer process;
11. Partner with HR, Legal, and Compensation to ensure correct classification, contract type, and alignment with internal policies.
Offer Management & Process Excellence
12. Support and manage offer preparation, approvals, and negotiations in collaboration with hiring managers, HR, and Compensation;
13. Maintain accurate data within the ATS (Workday preferred) and ensure compliance with data privacy requirements;
14. Leverage recruiting metrics and insights to drive continuous improvement in hiring outcomes and processes.
Global Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
15. Operate effectively within a global, matrixed organization, collaborating with regional and global TA colleagues;
16. Contribute to global and regional TA initiatives, projects, and continuous improvement efforts;
17. Support transformation, process optimization, and employer branding initiatives as part of the Global TA CoE.
Basic Requirements:
18. Fluency in both Italian and English (written and spoken) is required
19. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
20. Minimum 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably for global or matrixed organizations
21. Proven experience recruiting within manufacturing and engineering environments
22. Strong working knowledge of Italian labor law and Metalworking Industry Collective Agreement
23. Experience recruiting both factory/hourly roles and professional/salaried roles
24. Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with onsite presence of at least 3 days per week
Desired Attributes:
25. Experience recruiting in MedTech or other regulated manufacturing industries
26. Prior experience supporting EMEA or global recruiting initiatives
27. Agency or RPO experience
28. Process improvement/project management experience with ability to deliver results
29. A successful track record of transformational business partnering
30. High degree of maturity and emotional intelligence with a track record of successfully leading through difficult situations
31. Data-driven orientation that combines qualitative and quantitative
32. Resourcefulness, pragmatism, and roll-up the sleeves mentality
33. Efficiency and organizational skills
34. Able to manage competing demands and easily adapts to changes in work environment and schedule
35. ATS management experience – Workday preferred
36. Ability to effectively manage multiple projects with overlapping tasks and work independently with minimal supervision
37. Must be a confident communicator, (including both written and verbal skills) and must be able to effectively present to all levels of the organization
38. Energizing personality, excellent communication skills, detail oriented, strong time management skills, ability to multi-task on multiple projects simultaneously, meet competing priorities and deadlines under pressure, and ability to drive cross functional teaming and linkages are a must for this role.
