He/She will be mainly focused on the floor mount/chiller products. /ppstrongWhat kind of work will you be doing? /strong /pulliWork in a multi-disciplinary engineering team on global products focusing on high performance, cost effective design and market leading innovation. /liliTo design new products or re-engineer existing ones, with a focus on the mechanical aspects (mainly sheet metal and piping), collaborating with suppliers, Procurement and Industrial Engineering, being aware of the necessary product marketing inputs. /liliTo create and review product documentation (CAD drawings, specifications, bills of material). /liliWork in a structured company using PLM system to create items and managing the revisions. /liliTo meet objectives of cost, quality, environment and time of execution, achieving the best trade-off between market and internal customer needs. /liliTo analyze and resolve technical problems as regards products under his/her responsibility; improving, updating, reviewing the mechanical drawings according to the information from the Production, Procurement and Logistics departments, to simplify the assembly, reducing the costs and improving the quality. /liliA high level of experienced CAD skill combined with a good attention to details. /liliAvailability to travel on request between the Italian HQ (base) and a production facility in Slovakia. /li /ulpstrongWhat will make you successful? /strong /pulliTechnical Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; /liliAt least 3 years of previous working experience on similar activities, ideally in the Chiller or HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) sectors; /liliGood knowledge of light structural work processing is mandatory; /liliKnowledge of thermodynamics aspects is desirable but not essential; /liliExcellent knowledge of 3D/2D CAD PLM systems, Microsoft Office tools, particularly PTC Creo.
