Role SummaryHawkroot is seeking a Digital Marketing Intern to support digital marketing activities across search, social and paid media channels.This part-time internship (20 hours per week) is designed for individuals early in their careers who want to gain practical experience in digital marketing operations within a structured professional environment.You will work alongside the marketing team to assist with campaign coordination, content preparation and performance monitoring across multiple digital platforms. This role provides hands-on exposure to SEO, paid media campaigns, audience targeting and campaign analytics while supporting ongoing marketing initiatives.Mentorship and guidance will be provided throughout the internship.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with the execution of digital marketing campaigns across search and social channelsSupport SEO activities including keyword research and content optimisationHelp monitor and analyse paid campaigns on platforms such as Google Ads and Meta AdsAssist in creating marketing assets and visual content using Canva or similar toolsSupport social media scheduling and content coordinationHelp track campaign performance and assist in preparing performance reportsProvide operational support to the marketing team on campaign-related tasks
Skills and QualificationsFoundational understanding of digital marketing principlesBasic familiarity with SEO, paid advertising or social media marketingExperience with Canva or similar design tools is beneficial but not requiredStrong attention to detail and organisational skillsWillingness to learn within a structured team environmentGood written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently in a remote environment
Professional experience is not required. Academic coursework, personal projects or self-learning in digital marketing are welcomed.
