The production operator is the figure who deals with the assembly, overhaul, and maintenance of specific products. In his/her work, he/she follows the internal procedures and collaborates to update them, participates in the quality controls at the entrance of the goods, requests the necessary components from the warehouse, uses equipment and machinery to carry out the foreseen processes, carries out end‑of‑line tests and compiles the required documentation, cares the labeling and packaging of products. For the coordination of activities, he/she must interface with the production supervisor and with his/her colleagues.

He/she is required to follow the internal or external refresher courses proposed and to use the required PPE. Its guidelines in the work carried out must be quality, safety, speed, flexibility.

Key responsibilities and requirements associated with this position

He/she keeps the work area tidy and clean throughout the course of the activity
\n
Read the necessary documentation before starting the required processing and follow all the steps provide
\n
Fill in the necessary documentation at the end of an activity in detail
\n
He/she knows how the equipment used works and uses it with care, reporting any breakages / anomalies
\n
He /she is able to carry out verification of operation, maintenance and repair of used equipment if necessary
\n
Know the legislation on health and safety in the workplace and always use the necessary PPE
\n
Optimize the use of raw materials avoiding waste
\n
He/she is able to work responsibly and independently
\n
Promptly report to the manager any anomalies in the production processes, deficiencies or defects in materials, equipment, PPE
\n
He/she uses lifting and transport means to move materials
\n
He/she is available, if necessary, for business trips to Italy or abroad
\n
High school diploma from technical school or equivalent (preferably electrical / electronic orientation)
\n
Two years of manufacturing experience
