It serves as a guest advocate and key advisor to the General Manager, leading operations of maintenance engineering, facilities maintenance, grounds, housekeeping partnership, fleet, warehouse, and/or laundry departments. Foster a culture of learning and mentorship for continuous performance development. /liliAnalyze and recommend adjustments to staffing, performance targets, and resources to achieve results. Manage engagement plans, talent reviews, and succession planning. /liliDemonstrate Brandhearted leadership by prioritizing the brand in all decisions. Model brand behaviors and balance budget goals with team, individual, and brand success. /liliTeach and inspect preventative care and maintenance programs, including electrical, plumbing, electro-mechanical, and appliance repairs. Manage contracts with outsourced vendors for specialized skills. /liliImplement maintenance strategies, standards, reserves planning, and budget stewardship to enhance owner value and guest satisfaction. /liliDevelop departmental budgets and allocate resources to meet financial goals. Operate within budgetary guidelines. /li /ulpstrongQUALIFICATIONS: /strong /pulliHigh school diploma required /liliCollege degree or trade training in engineering preferred /liliMinimum 3 years of hands-on hospitality maintenance engineering experience and management /liliAt least 1 year leading front-line staff /liliFacilities Certifications (CEOE, IFMA, or FMA) are desirable /liliExperience and knowledge of maintenance engineering management and building systems /liliBasic project management skills /liliAbility to anticipate, prevent, and solve complex problems while delivering high-quality results /liliStrong written and verbal communication skills in English /liliMust be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and at least 4 years of driving experience /liliMay require current state certification or licensing /li /ul #J-18808-Ljbffr
