This role combines product testing, technical analysis, and development support, with a strong focus on investigating system performance and contributing to product improvement.The successful candidate will work in our local testing facility and will be involved in testing Topcon's full range of Precision Agriculture solutions, including GNSS receivers, in-cab consoles/displays, and electronic control units (ECUs).In addition, the role includes analyzing software and system behavior, identifying improvement opportunities, and providing technical insights and recommendations to R&D and engineering teams.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop test plans aligned with new product delivery schedulesCreate and maintain test procedures for new features and regression testingExecute product validation and verification efficientlyAnalyze system and software behavior, identifying issues and proposing improvementsUnderstand customer requirements and ensure products meet expectationsTroubleshoot reported problems and support technical teams (sales, customer support)Contribute to continuous improvement of lab and field testing capabilitiesCollaborate with Product Management, R&D, Engineering, Production, and Support teamsSupport development activities through technical feedback and system-level analysisPerform additional duties as requiredQuality and WHS ComplianceComply with Topcon Employee Handbook and Global Code of ConductReport hazards and contribute to a safe working environmentAdhere to equal opportunity and workplace conduct principlesRequiredKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesKnowledge of serial, ISO CAN, radio, and machine-to-machine communication systemsStrong troubleshooting and analytical skillsBasic computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite)Ability to work in cross-functional and multicultural environmentsAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritiesHands-on approach, including working with agricultural equipmentPrior experience in product testing or developmentAbility to analyze software behavior and system performance, providing technical feedback and improvement recommendations to engineering and R&D teamFluent in EnglishDesirableKnowledge of precision agriculture practicesBasic programming skills (for test tools or data analysis)Experience in the agriculture industry (1–2 years)Understanding of GNSS receivers and basic control theoryQualifications & ExperienceDegree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Agricultural EngineeringValid driver's license1–2 years of relevant experience or internships in Precision Agriculture or related fieldsTraining or facilitation skills are a plusAdditional InformationMost of the job will be performed in an outdoor environment in and around agricultural equipment.
