Job Description – Food and Drinks Intern – Waiter (Job Number: HOT0CI9H) Work Locations Aleph Rome – Curio Via di San Basilio, 15 Rome 187 Responsibilities As a Food and Drinks Intern – Waiter, you will welcome guests and work across all areas of Food and Drinks to deliver an excellent guest experience while managing guest queries. Key tasks include:
Work in all areas of Food and Drinks, including Bar, Restaurant, Room Service, and Conference & Events Welcome guests politely and friendly Take and deliver customer orders, consistently demonstrating high levels of customer service Prepare set‑ups for tables and/or rooms Follow cash handling procedures Manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner Up‑sell with latest departmental incentives Ensure compliance with brand standards and cleanliness of work areas Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation Comply with local licensing laws and be environmentally aware Assist other departments where necessary and maintain good working relationships

Desirable experience and skills:
Previous Food and Drinks or industry experience Experience with cash handling Knowledge of Food Hygiene Regulations
