The Group Legal Counsel & Compliance Officer is responsible for leading the Group’s global legal, compliance, and governance framework, ensuring effective risk management, regulatory and internal compliance, and legal oversight across all jurisdictions in which the Group operates. The role supports the CFO and executive leadership by embedding a structured, risk-based and control-oriented approach, drawing on experience from highly regulated environments. The Group Legal Counsel & Compliance Officer reports to the Group CFO.

Your responsibilities:\nLegal, Governance & Compliance
\n
\n
- \nAct as senior legal advisor to the CFO, CEO and Board\n
\n
- \nManage corporate governance, board processes and shareholder matters
\n
\n
- \nIdentify, assess and escalate legal and compliance risks
\n
\n
\n\n
- \nBuild and maintain the corporate Compliance & Governance framework
\n
\n
- \nConduct internal risk and compliance assessments with reporting to the Board
\n
\n
- \nMonitor remediation from risks and internal controls
\n
\n
- \nCollaborate with internal teams, auditors and regulators
\n
\n
\nCommercial & Corporate
\n
\n
- \nOversee complex commercial contracts (Supply, Manufacturing, Distribution, Licensing, R&D;)\n
\n
- \nSupport M&A;, restructuring and cross-border transactions
\n
\n
- \nManage contract repositories
\n
\n
\nPolicies & Controls
\n
\n
- \nOwn and maintain group-wide legal and compliance policies (Code of Conduct, ABC, Antitrust, Whistleblowing, Delegation of Authority, etc.)\n
\n
- \nEnsure consistent implementation through training and monitoring
\n
\n
- \nManage central repositories for policies and controls
\n
\n
\nRegulatory Compliance
\n
\n
- \nEnsure compliance with laws and certifications across all functions\n
\n
- \nMonitor regulatory developments (Food law, Labelling, Product liability, ESG, GDPR, etc.)
\n
\n
- \nWork closely with Quality, Regulatory Affairs, R&D;, IT and Operations
\n
\n
\nIP, Litigation, Insurance & Employment
\n
\n
- \nOversee trademarks, patents, know‑how and brand protection activities\n
\n
- \nManage litigation and external counsel
\n
\n
- \nOversee insurance programs
\n
\n
- \nSupport employment law matters and executive governance topics
\n
\n
\nLeadership
\n
\n
- \nLead and develop the Group Legal & Compliance function\n
\n
- \nDefine priorities, KPIs and resource plans aligned with CFO strategy
\n
\n
\nYour profile:\n
\n
- \nMaster’s degree in Law; Additional specialization in Compliance, Governance, Risk, Food Law or Data Protection is a plus
\n
\n
- \n10+ years in legal/compliance roles within multinational companies or top-tier international law firms
\n
\n
- \nExperience in regulated industries (Food, Pharma, FMCG, Manufacturing) preferred
\n
\n
- \nExpertise in corporate/commercial law, regulatory matters, M&A;, litigation and insurance
\n
\n
\n\n
- \nStrong communication and senior stakeholder management skills
\n
\n
- \nOpen to travel
\n
\n
- \nFluent in English; Italian and/or German considered a plus
\n
\n
