Barilla G. e R. Fratelli S.p.A. is looking for an Asset Accounting Senior Analyst within the Consolidated & European Financial Statement and Assets Accounting Unit. The role will report to the Asset Accounting Manager and will be based in our Headquarters in Parma.
Job purpose
The Assets Accounting Unit acts as a Competence Centre and ensures full compliance from a managerial, statutory and tax point of view of the administrative processes and accounting records relating to corporate assets for all companies managed with the internal Group rules and the general law framework. The person will guarantee the correct accounting representation of all the events connected to the life of an asset and support the process of obtaining public grants related to the plants.
Key Accountabilities
* Guarantee the correct accounting representation of the events related to the management of an asset (capitalization, monthly and forecast depreciation, disposals, revaluations), according to accounting policies, company policies and tax requirements;
* Interact with the plants and the headquarter staff with reference to the following activities/tasks:
o RCA ( Request of Capital Appropriation )/RAD ( Request for Asset Disposal ): verification and approval of documents, preparation of the documents requested by other units, approval process;
o Asset tree management: plants support and labels check;
o Asset management for different areas (Statutory/Tax/Management/IFRS): master data, transfers, other units users support;
* Interface with Central Engineering and HQ Finance to support cross‑functional alignment, cost control, effective project execution and Capex and Cashout management;
* Support the activity of:
o Check and release of the new machines created;
o Tax and Government Grants management.
Requirements
* University degree in Economics or equivalent;
* 2+ years experience in accounting (if applied to the management of Assets will be considerate a plus)
* Knowledge of Office applications (Excel, Word, Power Point): advanced knowledge of Excel will be a plus;
* Knowledge of SAP;
* Analytical approach and Data accuracy;
* Good communication skills in order to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders;
* Good knowledge of English;
* Team player with the ability to build solid relationships.
