Job ID: 3206471 | Amazon.com Services LLC Overview Transportation Associates will perform trailer moves in the trailer yard, coordinate yard activities, conduct yard audits, complete driver training programs, and operate multiple vehicle types to support Amazon’s transportation network. Responsibilities
Make safety a priority by adhering to and enforcing company safety measures and policies for vehicle operators and yard entrants. Perform various functions within the yard to support site operations, internal transportation teams, and external carriers, ensuring trailers arrive and depart on time with zero defects. Be professionally trained to operate Commercial Motor Vehicles (CMVs) on non-public roads or in the yard, moving trailers to/from dock and parking locations. Learn and comply with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies (size, weight, route designations, parking, trailer designations, violation and incident reporting, break periods, etc.). Complete driver vehicle inspection reports and notify managers of maintenance or delivery issues. Follow hostler and delivery schedules, track and report working hours and breaks in compliance with Amazon policy and federal/state regulations, obey traffic laws, and drive safely under all conditions. Support the business as needed by serving as a peer trainer or working at nearby site locations. Drive, maneuver, and load/unload trucks using approved equipment (e.g., pallet jack).

Basic Qualifications
Hold a valid and active driver’s license. High school or equivalent diploma. Be 21 years or older. Work 40 hours per week with overtime as required. Work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays. Lift up to 49 pounds; stand and walk during shifts up to 12 hours; push, pull, squat, bend, reach, and ascend/descend stairs. Understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines in English.
Preferred Qualifications
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with diverse audiences. Experience building strong collaborative relationships with colleagues and outside vendors. Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). Completion of Career Choice Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Course. Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
