We are currently seeking a Junior Estimating Pipeline Engineer, reporting directly to the TEN Italy Solutions Fano Office Department Head, to join our engineering team based in Italy, Fano Office. About the Job The Estimating Pipeline Engineer will develop and prepare cost estimates for pipeline projects. This involves analyzing project requirements, developing cost models, and providing technical support during bidding and/or design phases. The role requires close collaboration with project managers, proposal managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and comprehensive estimates. Key Responsibilities: Develop cost estimates for pipeline projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and other expenses. Analyze project requirements and specifications to determine scope and risks. Develop cost models and perform analyses. Provide technical support during the bidding process, including reviewing bid documents, preparing bid packages, and responding to inquiries. Support the design phase with bill of materials preparation, requests for quotations, and scheduling. Collaborate with project teams to ensure estimate accuracy. Prepare and present detailed cost estimates to management and clients. Gather feedback from site, analyze construction contracts and costs. Availability to travel for meetings and site surveys in Italy, a few days each month on average. About You We’d love to hear from you if your profile meets these essential requirements: Experience: No experience required. Qualifications: Knowledge of main engineering principles. Degree with full marks in Civil, Building, Environmental, Mechanical, Management Engineering, Architecture, or similar. Languages: Italian (native), English.
