We are looking for a proactive and analytical Controller to support both Financial Controlling and Commercial teams. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, understands business dynamics, and wants to develop strong analytical, commercial, and cross functional collaboration skills.
You will contribute to financial reporting, cost analysis, and budgeting, while also supporting sales performance monitoring, profitability analysis, and pricing intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare business cases for new products, pricing changes, and commercial initiatives
* Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities
* Prepare management reports and dashboards
* Perform variance analysis and identify key performance drivers
* Assist in budgeting and forecasting cycles
* Monitor KPIs, costs, and financial trends
* Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies
* Conduct deep dive cost analysis to understand cost structures and margin drivers
* Perform profitability analysis by product, customer, channel, and region
* Support Sales to develop Transfer prices and pricing strategy evaluations
* Monitor sales performance, revenue trends, and commercial KPIs
* Analyze discounts, rebates, and commercial conditions to ensure profitability
* Collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to provide insights and improve decision making
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in economics, Business Administration, Finance or Engineering.
* Strong analytical and numerical skills
* Proficiency in Excel; experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus
* Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
* Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
* Good command of English and Italian (written and spoken)
