Position SummaryYou will be responsible for ensuring the continuity of factory operations at the minimum level of unplanned stoppages by managing internal and external resources.A day in the life of a Factory Maintenance Manager
Create and implement the appropriate maintenance strategy for the factory assets: production lines, facilities, industrial servicesSupervise a team of 53 maintenance workers (mechanical and electrical engineers, industrial service engineers, technical storekeepers)Ensure compliance with safety proceduresProvide support to production operatorsReact to emergencies such as major breakdowns or utility disruptionsCoordinate external workers during major interventionsDevelop the maintenance budget, monitor and control maintenance expendituresControl technical store working capital and service levelsEnforce the implementation of TPM methodologyCoach the technical team on breakdown analysis and enforce the culture of failure root cause eliminationProvide support during the installation of new assets
What will make you successful?Skills and Qualifications required:
Preferably, a degree in industrial engineering (mechanical, electrical, chemical) or related fieldsMinimum 5 years as Maintenance Manager or Maintenance Supervisor in the food, pharma or consumer goods industryExperience in supervising internal technical teams and subcontractorsParticipation in multidisciplinary teamsAnalytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously to comply with internal and regulatory deadlinesPreferably, proficient knowledge of Italian and English
Skills and Qualifications desired
Experience with confectionery equipment is a plusExposure to TPM methodologyAbility to multitaskExperience in the start‐up of technical equipment and/or production lines (preferably including industrial services supply)
