WHAT YOU'LL DO
* Design and build robust, scalable backend systems to power our AI algorithms and applications.
* Collaborate with the web crawling and AI team to develop indexing pipelines and guide data acquisition strategies.
* Craft scalable and efficient data structures to organize vast volumes of legal data.
* Rapidly prototype and develop software to improve, automate, or accelerate internal processes.
* Follow best practices, coding standards, and participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality code.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
* Solid experience with Python is essential.
* 3+ years of experience in designing and developing scalable backend systems.
* Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
* Familiarity with full-text search, vector databases, or similar scalable search systems.
* A passion for continuous learning and adapting to new technologies in the rapidly evolving field of NLP and ML.
* Knowledge of ML and AI is not required but is preferred.
