About the Role
We are looking for a talented Technical Platform Owner to join ACMA, a Coesia company based in Bologna.
The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the correct functionality, quality, and integration of complete lines composed of ACMA machines, third-party equipment, and integrated systems. They will also be in charge of defining functional layouts and automation logics, running simulations, and supporting internal teams in the technical selection and validation of suppliers.
Activities include but are not limited to:
1. Ensure the integration of machines with a strong focus on automation
2. Define functional layouts and control logic for complete lines
3. Execute process simulations to validate the operational efficiency of machine systems
4. Support HSI teams in the technical selection and validation of equipment suppliers
5. Define and standardize safety requirements for machine assemblies, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
6. Collaborate with technical leaders and suppliers on the development, integration, and commissioning of systems
7. Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless and functional automation of the line
What You Need to Be Successful
8. Degree in Automation Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field
9. 8–9 years of experience in software and automation design, with a strong focus on machinery integration
10. Solid knowledge of electronic and automation systems, with an understanding of mechanical functioning
11. Experience in defining safety standards for complex systems and verifying their application
12. Proficiency with software tools for production line simulation
13. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with suppliers and internal stakeholders
14. Hands-on attitude, analytical mindset, and strong problem-solving skills
