PositionIn order to strengthen our Logistics Team, we are looking for a Logistic Manager.We are seeking an experienced and skilled Logistics Manager to join our dynamic team.The Logistics Manager will be responsible for leading the planning, coordination, and optimization of logistics operations across our organization on a global scale.This role requires a professional with a strong understanding of supply chain processes, transportation management, and inventory control, combined with a hands-on and proactive approach to ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and service excellence throughout the entire logistics flow.Key responsibilities:Day-to-day management of Planning, Customer Service, and Warehouse departments, with a focus on continuous improvement within the supply chainStrategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer servicesDirect, optimize, and coordinate the full order cycleDirect, optimize, and coordinate the improvement of IT tools within the departmentLiaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumersKeep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, and efficiencyArrange warehouse layout, catalog goods, plan routes, and process shipmentsSupervise, coach, and train the warehouse workforceMeet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targetsMaintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvementsComply with laws, regulations, and ISO requirementsMonitor supplier performance to key metrics and liaise with the company’s manufacturing plants and suppliers to support continuous improvement in quality, cost, delivery, and serviceEnsure that all departmental activities identify, manage, and implement initiatives for continuous improvementAssist in the coaching and development of team membersRequirementsProven experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a similar role within the automotive industryStrong knowledge of automotive supply chain processesExperience with transportation management, inventory control, and warehouse operationsProficient in logistics and ERP systemsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage and coordinate multiple logistics partners and service providersStrong communication and negotiation skills, both with internal stakeholders and external suppliers/customersKnowledge of customs regulations, import/export documentation, and incotermsCapability to monitor and improve KPIs related to logistics performance (cost, delivery time, accuracy, etc.)Fluent in English; additional languages (e.g., German, French) are a plusDegree in Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related fieldLeadership ability and experience managing cross-functional teamsMore InformationWe offer a permanent contract, a dynamic and fast-growing business, a lean organization where you have the chance to be visible and appreciated by the top management, a global approach to people management.
