IT MAC Support Technician – Frascati
ATG Europe – Salary: €35,000 – €45,000 (EUR) – Location: Frascati, Italy – Full on-site support required.
We are looking for an IT MAC Support Technician on behalf of the European Space Agency (ESA) for their location in Frascati, Italy. This role is critical in maintaining productivity by providing timely troubleshooting, device management, and technical guidance within a fast‑paced corporate environment.
Responsibilities
Provide first- and second-level technical support for MacBook, iMac, iPhone, and iPad devices;
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues on macOS and iOS/iPadOS platforms;
Manage device enrolment, configuration, and lifecycle using MDM solutions (e.g., Jamf, Microsoft Intune, or similar);
Perform OS deployments and updates;
Support integration with corporate services such as Active Directory/Azure AD, VPN, email systems, and collaboration tools;
Configure and troubleshoot Wi‑Fi, printers, peripherals, and conferencing systems;
Maintain asset inventory and documentation of IT processes;
Collaborate with infrastructure/cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with company policies and data protection standards;
Provide user training and best‑practice guidance for Apple devices;
Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff or external vendors when required.
Qualifications
Vocational training in Information Technology or a similar subject;
ABachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or a similar subject is a strong asset;
At least 5 years of relevant work experience;
Proven experience supporting Apple and Microsoft devices in a corporate environment;
Extensive knowledge of macOS, iOS, and iPadOS;
Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms;
Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN);
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and enterprise identity management;
Apple certifications (e.g., Apple Device Support, Apple Deployment and Management) is an asset;
Experience with Jamf and Microsoft Intune is an asset;
Knowledge of endpoint security tools is an asset;
Other IT certifications are an asset;
Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills;
Strong communication and customer service orientation;
Ability to manage multiple support tickets in a structured environment;
Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the EU;
Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
