PpWe are actively seeking a dynamic bPowertrain Testing Manager /b to join our team and oversee the daily Foggia RD operations of our lab facility located within our FPT Foggia Site. This position will report to PWT Benches, Ops Prototypes. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul limanage lab budget, including OPEX and CAPEX, with full accountability for Foggia testing in accordance with WW guidelines. /li limonitoring of economic, performance, and quality KPIs and define/drive action plans to achieve company targets in accordance with WW guidelines. /li litest plan site governance (development, durability, reliability, emissions/homologation) in line with the product development roadmap. /li liBalance demand vs. available capacity (cells/benches, resources, shifts), managing priorities and conflicts. /li liEnsure each test request is feasible, complete, properly prepared, and approved prior to execution. /li liCoordinate mechanical/electrical/fluids setup, instrumentation, automation and all pre-test checks (setup verification sign-off). /li liSupervise, mentor, and train a team of technicians and engineers. Support development of team on technical development and growth /li liDirect management responsibility for hiring, onboarding, performance management, succession planning, and disciplinary actions. /li liConduct performance reviews, goal setting, and skills development plans /li liEquipment management, parts procurement and test bench planning in accordance with WW scenarios: /li liManage external vendors, contractors, calibration providers, and equipment suppliers /li liOversee service agreements and vendor performance /li liCoordinate with suppliers for commissioning, maintenance, and upgrades to testing equipment /li liTesting Validation: /li liPartner with Engineering, Automation and IT to maintain test software and reporting tools /li liInstallation of engines and instrumentation in the test room /li liMonitoring activities in the test room during test execution /li liProviding operational support in line with instructions coming from the engineering functions /li liCompleting the test cell logbook /li liMaintain high standards and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards (testing, maintenance, workshop, warehouse). /li liFull accountability for lab safety, EHS compliance, and risk mitigation /li liDevelop, implement, and enforce SOPs, safety protocols, and emergency response plans /li liLead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions /li liFull time presence on site required /li /ul h3Required Skills, Education and Experience /h3 ul liDemonstrated experience leading and developing technical teams in a lab environment /li liStrong technical foundation in internal combustion engine principles and powertrain systems. /li liA quality mindset with a focus on accuracy, repeatability, and data integrity /li liIn-depth knowledge of emissions legislation and regulatory testing requirements /li liStrong interpersonal and communciation skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams /li liAbility to operate successfully within a complex, multifunctional, global, and cross-functional organization. /li liResults oriented approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for outcomes /li liAbility to perform effectively under pression while maintaining a high level of attention to detail. /li liBachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Automotive, Electrical, or related field). /li liMinimum 7+ years in test engineering, powertrain systems, or lab management, with experience in diesel engine development, electric vehicles, or traditional automotive components. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
