Under the direction of the Sustaplast Operations Manager, the Quality Production Support Technician is responsible for the duties and responsibilities outlined below.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Daily quality control checks of all Sustaplast extrusion lines, including: Length, width, diameter, operating parameters, & lot numbers.
* Daily UT inspection checks of all Sustaplast extrusion lines, including:
o Contact UT Testing of all extrusion lines.
o Completing daily production paperwork (production records), as needed/required, including production reporting, quality control inspection and reporting.
o Ultrasonic testing, including:
+ In-line contact testing, contact testing and immersion testing.
* Addressing and handling non-conforming product, including:
o Confirmation and verification of non-conforming reason.
o Confirmation and verification of quantities.
o Documenting, labeling and reporting.
o Controlling, supervising and being responsible for disposition.
o Transfer of goods to the warehouse, including:
+ Confirmation and verification of quality, quantity and identification.
+ Confirmation and verification of the accuracy of production records.
+ Confirmation and verification of the accuracy of quality records.
* Line marking of materials, including:
o Accuracy of product name, product description and lot number, if required.
* Addressing and handling RGAs – Return Goods Authorization, including:
o Confirmation, verification and assessment of customer’s return reason.
o Controlling, supervising, reporting and being responsible for disposition.
