We'd love to hear from you if you’re looking to do great work with great people. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liNegotiate rates with carriers to maximize profitability and improve efficiency; /li liSchedule/Coordinate shipments; /li liUse various software tools to assist in finding carrier equipment; /li liTrack and trace shipments with carriers and address any issues during transit; /li liCommunicate service issues with the appropriate Account Manager; /li liPerform sourcing activities, including targeting new carriers, negotiating and developing carrier rates, and sourcing and selecting the most efficient carriers; /li liPerform market research for customer quoting and spot market opportunities; /li liAssist in pursuing new business opportunities; /li liOther duties and responsibilities as assigned by your supervisor. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liExperience in freight brokerage/3PL, with a desire to grow professionally (an asset); /li liGED /li liExcellent organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines; /li liDemonstrated ability to stay current and accurately interpret industry trends; /li liA true passion for sales and logistics - must be a self-starter, self-directed and highly motivated. /li liExcellent customer service, communication, and computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, and data entry systems); /li liAbility to positively influence culture and behavior and work effectively with all levels within the company; /li liCareer driven - this is not just a job but an opportunity to grow. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
