We Are Looking For Proposal & Bid Manager Leaf Space seeks an Institutional Bid Manager to support funding opportunities from institutional organizations (e.g., space agencies, governments, European and regional organizations). This role is essential for supporting services and product development, providing resources, and selling ground segment services for missions financed/promoted by institutional entities. The Bid Manager oversees the full offer lifecycle, from opportunity identification to contract signing, focusing on planning, execution, and stakeholder interactions, especially with institutional clients. Responsibilities Identify opportunities within the institutional market for product development financing and service sales. Manage participation in bidding opportunities, overseeing proposal delivery and coordinating the proposal team. Analyze, plan, and execute offers, managing interactions with internal departments and partners. Engage with customers to understand needs and incorporate them into proposals. Liaise with bid consortium members for proposal contributions. Maintain proposal templates and records of documentation. Collaborate with administrative and Program Management departments on bureaucratic and proposal drafting tasks. Ensure compliance with company processes, customer requests, and strategic goals, meeting deadlines at each bid phase. Coordinate with business development and sales teams to align efforts. Keep the CRM updated on R&D funding opportunities and sales activities. Monitor market and competitor strategies to optimize proposals. Contribute to the company's service development and business strategy. Qualifications and Requirements University degree in Engineering, Economics, Physics, Business, IT, or related fields; Aerospace/Space education is a plus. Proactive, able to work in international teams and independently. Strong analytical and organizational skills, detail-oriented. Proficient in Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Capable of managing demanding workloads and working under pressure. Sales-oriented attitude. 2-3 years of experience in business development, marketing, or sales in institutional environments, focusing on technological services. Knowledge of the space market and macro-economy principles. System Engineering knowledge is a plus. Excellent English proficiency; full proficiency in Italian required.
