The Contract Logistics Production System Black Belt is part of the Production System department and drives Continuous Improvement throughout the business on site level by delivering value to our clients - Global leaders inside the automotive and retail industry - and Operations. **YOUR ROLE **:Under the guidance of the National Production System Manager the Contract Logistics Production System Black Belt manages the delivery of continuous improvement projects portfolio and projects relating to the highly automated warehousing activity of an e-commerce customer and ensures the delivery of savings and productivity improvements. The Black Belt supports operations to progress by using Lean Six Sigma methodologies including the implementation and development of our Excellence model and a productivity management tool. He/she aims to improve the capabilities of our People through training and mentorship of Lean Six Sigma Green and Yellow Belts, supports and coaches the site leadership team and in continuously improving processes dealing with logistics variation. The Black Belt is a role model in terms of Lean Six Sigma knowledge, Value delivery by means of projects execution and the key representative and most active promoter of Continuous Improvement culture that the site needs to embrace.
**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Is responsible and accountable for the Continuous Improvement site program deployment of a highly automated dedicated warehouse for an e-commerce client from start-up over go-live to operational stabilisation.
- Supports the entire site in the development of Kuehne+Nagel Excellence levels on site from Blue level through to Gold
- Supports to develop productivity management tools within the site to ensure consistent measurement and monitoring of productivity at process and site level.
- Works with the National and Regional Production System Lead in the development of the Lean Six Sigma site knowledge and supports the development of a Learning Center to train and develop operational and magenement site teams
- Executes Productivity and Quality CI project improvements to a Lean Six Sigma Green / Black Belt Standard using DMAIC methodology, embedding e.g. an advanced level of statistical analysis (Minitab) and Value Stream Mapping methodology.
- Delivers and manages Kaizen activities and project portfolio resulting from (Deep Dive) Value Stream
- Analysis activities with Operations and National Production System team
- Aligns projects and CI activity to meet both Production System and site goals and targets
- Is responsible for delivery of Value and management of CI Tracker.
- Validates results with relevant persons, e.g. financial controllers, assuring data integrity is maintained at all times
**YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES**:
- Practice certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or relevant Lean Six Sigma Experience (min. 5 years), alternatively Lean Six
- Sigma Green Belt with proven similar experience
- Proven background in the delivery of Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement programs including both statistical analysis and Value Stream Mapping. Can demonstrate a rounded business acumen including P & L management and budgeting.
- Ability to train others on the different topics of the Lean Six Sigma curriculum (YB/ GB/ Sponsor), experience in coaching Belts and leaders.
- Experience in Automation and/or manufacturing environment is regarded as a plus
- Knowledge of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance) is preferred
- Additional experience with RPA, AI and with Agile way of working is regarded as a plus
- Educated to Bachelor/master degree standard or equivalent experience
- Demonstrates a passion for continuous improvement and the ability to energize and inspire others, having excellent communication and interpersonal skills is a must
- Is process driven with strong analytical and problem solving skills, a Self-starter with the ability to work on own initiative and is able to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Has negotiation skills and shows leadership and motivational capabilities and the ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams
- Advanced skills in MS office tools and an advanced level Minitab user version 18 or above.
- Fluent in Italian and English
