Backed by top international investors and named one of Italy’s Top 10 LinkedIn Startups, we are on a mission to scale globally. /p h3What Will You Do? /h3 pYou will report directly to the CEO and play a key role in turning strategy, performance, and execution into tangible results. /p h3Performance Talent Management /h3 ul liLead and continuously improve the company’s performance review processes /li liAlign individual and team goals with Smartness’ strategic objectives /li liMeasure performance and outcomes consistently using a data-driven approach /li liProvide strategic insights on performance, talent development, and capability gaps /li liEnsure performance reviews are fair, consistent, and analytically rigorous /li liAct decisively on underperformance /li /ul h3Strategy Execution Accountability /h3 ul liTranslate strategic objectives into clear initiatives with defined owners and timelines /li liTrack cross-functional execution across Product, Ops, Risk, Growth, etc. /li liPush teams to make decisions quickly and close every open loop /li liEnsure clear ownership, deadlines, and real follow-through /li /ul h3Executive Enablement /h3 ul liPrepare executive meetings, board decks, and weekly business reviews /li liCut through the noise and focus attention on what truly matters /li liChallenge assumptions and narratives with data and critical thinking /li liRepresent the CEO in selected meetings when required /li /ul h3Strategic Special Projects /h3 ul liLead or support organizational design initiatives /li liManage major operational changes and new strategic initiatives /li /ul h3What Are We Looking For? /h3 ul liStrong analytical skills: ability to turn data and KPIs into concrete decisions /li liStrong business acumen (SaaS economics, growth levers, organizational dynamics) /li liAbility to break down ambiguous goals into executable plans /li liExtreme ownership, strong bias for action, and zero tolerance for open loops /li liAbility to drive initiatives without formal authority /li liExcellent executive-level written and verbal communication /li liComfort challenging assumptions and narratives with facts and data /li liHigh judgment under pressure, discretion, and the ability to quickly recognize misleading information, weak narratives, or poorly grounded justifications /li /ul h3Background /h3 ul li2+ years of experience in top-tier strategy consulting (McKinsey/BCG/Bain) or roles such as ex-founder, business analyst, or performance manager within high-growth companies /li liExperience in hypergrowth environments (plus MA or international expansion exposure) /li liFluent in Italian and English /li /ul h3What Do We Offer? /h3 ul liWork in a small and top-performing team that moves extremely fast where you are extremely important /li liWork without having to deal with jerks and ego-maniacs /li liThe opportunity to join one of the best travel-tech sales teams in Europe /li liA place where your talent can blossom /li liAn environment where mistakes are allowed – we make bold choices to achieve ambitious goals, learn from mistakes, and move forward /li liA place where your voice matters – meetings provide space for new ideas and projects, regardless of your role or seniority /li liContinuous growth – we challenge the status quo, renewing our sales processes and approaches to meet challenging goals /li liWe have fun while working!
