Your role as a Cloud Data Architect in NTT Data Gov & Tech will involve supporting customers in Big Data projects, collaborating with business analysts and solution architects to understand use cases, data needs, and outcome objectives. You will be responsible for delivering data acquisition, transformation, cleansing, conversion, compression, and loading of data into data lakes for analytics and machine learning models. The Cloud Data Architect should understand the challenges of a cloud-native environment, be able to think innovatively and simply, and share solutions with the team. We seek an engineer who can bridge Data Science and Data Engineering, with a clear understanding of both fields. Required Skills Experience in a cloud-native environment with at least one major public cloud (GCP, AWS, Azure); 2 years of experience on Azure preferred. Knowledge of Big Data Architectures, both cloud and on-premise. Experience with Azure infrastructure and networking. Proven ability to build and deliver proofs-of-concept addressing specific business needs, using appropriate techniques, data sources, and technologies. Experience migrating workloads from on-premise to cloud. Experience monitoring distributed infrastructure with Azure tools or open-source tools like Grafana or Prometheus. Proficiency in Java, Scala, Python, and shell scripting. Knowledge of SQL. Experience working with Agile methodologies and Kanban. Hands-on experience with Apache Spark, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and other Azure ETL/ELT tools. Azure Data Engineer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification, or equivalent in AWS, Oracle, GCP. Desired skills, experiences, and certifications include additional Big Data certifications (e.g., Cloudera, Databricks), experience with non-Azure ETL/ELT tools (Talend, Oracle Data Integrator, Informatica PowerCenter), and data visualization tools (PowerBI, Qlik, Tableau).
