Your role
We are looking for young talent Junior Automation Engineer, motivated, curious, and enterprising, to join us at our Operations Sites in Agordo (BL).
You will put your hands on different challenges working within a dynamic, markedly young and international environment, and you will have the opportunity to face a stimulating and constantly evolving business strongly focused on innovation and technology.
There is a wide range of opportunities to develop your competences and build up your career, including PLC, HMI, & robot programming, mechanical design, project management, and machine vision.
It is an unmissable opportunity to contribute to important transformation projects within EssilorLuxottica's Automation Engineer Business unit.
Main responsibilities
* Assist in PLC, HMI, and robot programming by supporting code development and testing.
* Support mechanical design tasks, including drafting and modifying CAD models.
* Participate in project management activities such as documentation and scheduling.
* Help set up and test machine vision systems for quality control applications.
* Troubleshoot basic automation issues and report findings to senior engineers.
* Conduct research on automation technologies and prepare technical reports.
Main requirements
* Master’s degree (achieved or in progress) in Mechanical, Automation, or Mechatronics Engineering.
* Strong problem‑solving mindset, always focused on solutions rather than obstacles.
* Passion for challenges and a high sense of responsibility in tackling tasks.
* Proficiency in PLC, HMI, and robot programming, with a solid understanding of automation systems.
* Strong skills in quantitative analysis, with advanced proficiency in Excel.
* Knowledge of mechanical design principles and experience with CAD software.
* Team‑oriented mindset, believing that success is only possible through collaboration.
* Fluency in Italian and English; knowledge of additional languages is a bonus.
