Within Generali Operation Service Platform we are looking for a Senior Network Engineer & Designer, who will join the Infrastracture Operations team.
As a Senior Network Engineer & Designer, you will play a key role in shaping and implementing advanced network architectures across our global environment. Your responsibilities will include:
* Design complex network infrastructures, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability
* Project leadership for network implementation and modernization initiatives
* Expertise in Cisco Meraki (must) and Cisco ISE, with Catalyst Center (DNA Center) as a nice-to-have
* Advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for critical incidents
* Deep knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and network segmentation and segregation strategies
* Collaboration with international teams to deliver solutions aligned with global standards
* Contribution to automation and optimization of network operations

Requirements
* Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
* Proven experience (7+ years) in network engineering and design for large-scale, complex environments
* In-depth knowledge of Cisco enterprise solutions (Meraki, ISE)
* Strong expertise in LAN/WAN, SD‑WAN, and network security principles
* Advanced skills in routing protocols, network troubleshooting, and performance optimization
* Ability to work effectively in an international environment with cross‑border teams
* Excellent communication skills in English (B2 or higher)
* Cisco certifications CCIE and CCNP are considered a plus
* Analytical mindset, problem‑solving attitude, and leadership capabilities
