Overview
We are looking for an experienced Construction Manager to be based on-site, across Italy. Join our dynamic construction team with over 100 MW of third-party projects actively under construction, including Agri-PV, utility scale PV, Revamping, and Repowering projects. This is a hands-on, site-based construction management role focused on quality management and control.
Employment type: full time - unlimited.
Responsibilities
* Accountable for the successful on-site execution of solar PV EPC projects from construction planning and establishment through commissioning, energization and handover.
* Formal construction management in accordance with company procedures & processes, legislation, standards and industry best practice; including technical, cost, schedule, quality, and stakeholder aspects.
* Report to the Construction Team Leader and the Technical Manager.
* Manage and report on construction and commissioning progress (schedule, costs, risk, quality, SHE, compliance, etc.).
* Adopt, implement, and improve JUWI construction management standards/processes to minimize project risk and maximize performance.
* Ensure compliance with all specifications and requirements in accordance with drawings and specifications for construction, quality, testing, commissioning and handover.
* Achieve construction schedule and payment milestones, including preparation/ compilation of all supporting documentation.
* Coordinate and cooperate with relevant internal and external interfaces.
* Ensure full compliance with QHSE regulations, legislation, standards, codes, and requirements in the Region. Accept and perform the “Preposto” figure as per D.lgs 81/08. Accept and manage the construction works as a “subdelegato per la sicurezza” as per D.lgs 81/08.
* Responsible for handover to O&M and/or the Owner.

Qualifications
* Engineering degree (civil, mechanical or electrical). Technical diplomas accepted based on experience.
* Minimum of 5 years construction management experience in EPC projects with overall responsibility; at least 4 years managing at least 10 MWp solar PV plants including grid connection (MV).
* Excellent communication skills; able to interact with internal teams, suppliers and customers.
* Proven track record delivering projects on time, on budget, safely and in compliance with technical & quality requirements and standards.
* Experience working autonomously with leadership, decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
* Familiar with construction management tools (project controls, scheduling, monitoring, document control), MS Project, MS Planner, MS Office, Autodesk BIM, Procore, etc.
* Experience in construction cost, schedule, risk, technical and quality management and quality control.
* Knowledge of construction, environmental and safety requirements and legislation.
* Understanding of standard contract forms and contract management.
* English and Italian: fluent.
* Ability to work in matrix organizations and diverse international environment.
* Team player with leadership qualities.

* Additional languages (German, French, Greek).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Detail-oriented with an engineering/design mindset.
* RTK Drone experience; IOS experience.

* National and international travel will be required in line with business requirements.
* Other duties within the scope of the role as needed.
