THE OPPORTUNITY We are hiring a Staff Software Engineer for our Mobile Platform team in Portugal! The Mobile Platform team is responsible for enabling engineers to work more efficiently and bringing a better developer experience, working on observability, performance, and having ownership of release management. As a Staff Software Engineer, you are a passionate developer driven by delivering high-quality, timely solutions. You will have opportunities to participate in architectural decisions, suggest improvements, and collaborate with the product team and other stakeholders in a highly agile environment. Main requirements WHO YOU ARE Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience; Experience designing and developing complex modern web applications; Experience with React Native ecosystem; Experience in web/mobile development and accessibility; Experience with Firebase ecosystem (Custom events, remote configs, Crashlytics); Experience with component-driven libraries/frameworks and Hybrid Native approach; Experience implementing prototypes, MVP, A/B testing, and feature toggles for production rollout; Experience with Design Systems and UX patterns; Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills; Experience with cloud architectures (AWS/GCP); Experience developing RESTful/GraphQL web services following HTTP best practices; Excellent communication skills in English, capable of articulating ideas clearly to groups.
