Your contribution to Prysmian's Success:
We are looking for a Mechanical Testing Engineer to join our HQ team based in Quattordio (AL).
Reporting directly to the R&D testing laboratory Director you will:
* Be in charge of mechanical tests on submarine cable systems to assess their capability to withstand mechanical stresses.
* Set up optimized test circuit, measure instruments and liaise with the internal customers / engineering teams (HQ departments or local R&D) to understand the Project needs.
* Coordinate laboratory operators involved in the testing, run the testing activities and analyse the test results.
* Define the scheduling of the tests and lead R&D related projects.
You are the right fit if you have/are:
* Around 2 years of experience in esting laboratories.
* Fluent in English both written and spoken.
* A master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
* Strong communication & interpersonal skills.
* Decision making attitude, critical thinking and problem solving skills.
* Strong teamwork skills, results oriented and ambitious mindset.
