Join Jack Links as a Corporate Accounting Staff Accountant to provide accounting and analytical support to the Director of Corporate Accounting, Corporate Accounting Manager, and the accounting team.
Responsibilities :
* Perform proactive accounting reviews of accruals to enhance general ledger accuracy and backend processing efficiency.
* Assist in period, quarter, and year-end close activities, including general ledger entries analysis and account reconciliations.
* Perform intercompany elimination reviews, receivable and payable balancing, and adjusting entries.
* Support Financial Reporting with accounting policies and procedures to improve the completeness, accuracy, validity, and timeliness of accounting information.
* Assist in the preparation and analysis of various financial and operating reports for corporate management.
* Help manage travel and entertainment expense processing using Concur, and report on it.
* Establish strong working relationships with subsidiary controllers and accounting staff to promote financial understanding and best practices.
* Support year-end audits as needed.
* Maintain accurate, thorough, and high-quality analytics data.
* Provide backup support to other accounting positions.
Qualifications : Required Education :
* BA / BS degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience.
Required Experience :
* At least 2 years of experience in an accounting role.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Ability to self-manage, work independently, and handle complex, urgent assignments.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially MS Excel.
* Good interpersonal and leadership skills.
* Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Skills :
* Experience with BPC and Concur.
Additional Information :
The salary range for this role is $59,900 - $82,390 annually. Actual salaries vary based on factors such as market data, internal equity, location, and candidate experience. This base pay is part of Jack Links' Total Rewards package, which may include bonuses and awards. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k), paid holidays, and paid time off.
