These roles will support two key manufacturing areas: Handling Logistics and Finish Paint. These positions are ideal for engineers with around 2–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or process improvement environment, who are ready to grow their careers in a global renewable energy company. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liAs an bOperational Support Expert /b, you will work directly with the factory teams to support, analyze, and improve production processes. You will help solve day-to-day operational issues, implement improvements, and ensure that processes run efficiently and safely. /li liYou’ll be part of a team that directly supports production, working alongside experts in tooling, training, quality, and engineering to continuously improve our factory performance in the areas of: Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost. /li liSupport and improve processes in either Handling Logistics or Finish Paint areas. /li liAnalyze current operations and identify areas for improvement. /li liCreate and maintain plans for implementing improvements. /li liSupport the implementation of changes through Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) – formal documents used to manage updates to processes. /li liParticipate in or lead small improvement projects. /li liAct as a point of contact for urgent production issues, helping to solve them quickly and effectively. /li liUse structured problem-solving tools, including: 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis). /li liApply Lean Manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve efficiency. /li liWork closely with cross-functional teams and spend time on the factory floor to understand and resolve real issues. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar. /li liAround 2–3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, production support, or process improvement. /li liBasic knowledge of Lean tools and structured problem-solving (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone, FMEA). /li liExperience in continuous improvement activities. /li liEnglish language skills for daily communication in an international team. /li /ul h3Competencies /h3 ul liTechnical and methodological thinking. /li liMotivated approach to solving problems. /li liGood communication and cooperation skills. /li liOrganized on tasks. /li liMotivated to learn and develop in a busy production environment. /li liWilling to work directly on the factory floor to understand challenges. /li /ul h3What We Offer /h3 ul liAttractive salary + bonus /li liThe opportunity to work in one of Vestas’ key blade manufacturing sites. /li liDevelopment within a global company focused on sustainability and innovation. /li liA supportive, multicultural team environment with a focus on continuous improvement. /li /ul pbLocation: /b Vestas Blades Factory – Taranto, Italy.
