Territory : Northeast - (Residing between Boston and Philadelphia is preferred)
Salary : $125,000 - $150,000 base + Benefits (1st Yr OTE : Up to $175,000)

Our client, a recognized leader in acoustics and audio design, is seeking a skilled and passionate Senior Consultant to join their team. This role is primarily home-based, with occasional travel within the Northeast, especially between Boston and Philadelphia. The responsibilities include leading design and delivery of room acoustics, sound isolation, and noise control solutions for high-performance environments such as luxury residential, museums, and commercial spaces. You will collaborate with architects, designers, and AV teams, managing projects from conception to installation. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience with an acoustics consulting firm, excellent communication skills, and project management experience. The role also involves business development—maintaining and expanding existing client relationships. There is a clear career progression to an Associate Principal role, offering growth in a specialized and rewarding field.
Responsibilities include:
1. Leading acoustic and audio design projects
2. Designing room acoustics, sound isolation, and noise control solutions
3. Managing and developing client relationships
4. Coordinating with project stakeholders for integrated solutions
5. Tuning and calibrating high-end audio systems
6. Conducting site visits and inspections for quality assurance
7. Preparing reports, proposals, and presentations to communicate technical concepts
8. Mentoring junior staff and delegating tasks
9. Maintaining high standards of project quality
10. Identifying new business opportunities and nurturing existing clients
11. Contributing to company growth and innovation strategies
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Acoustics, Physics, Engineering, or Architecture
* 5+ years of experience in an acoustic consulting firm
* Project management expertise
* Experience tuning and calibrating high-end audio systems
* Reliable transportation
