Swisslog Healthcare is looking for a Business Controller EMEA, reporting directly to the Finance Director EMEA. The role involves partnering with the finance community at local and global levels, as well as operational and commercial teams within the assigned region. The responsibilities include ensuring that internal reporting activities comply with company standards and legal requirements through transparency and accuracy, thereby enabling business owners to manage their branches effectively. Additionally, the role requires acting as a business partner to stakeholders by offering new perspectives and strategies to enhance business success.

* Support business stakeholders in the Italian and German branches and across the Retail Business Unit to achieve growth and profitability
* Analyze and review the financial performance of branches monthly, including reporting for performance meetings
* Manage monthly closing procedures proactively, focusing on ad hoc postings and revenue recognition
* Drive and coordinate the forecast & budget process, including reporting on final figures and assumptions
* Participate actively in Project Progress Reviews (PPR) and Project Risk Reviews (PRR)
* Ensure compliance with corporate policies (e.g., ICS)
* Support the Market Organization in closing processes, collaborating with accounting and other controllers, and consolidating month-end data
Your Competence
* Solid financial understanding
* Experience with POC & CCM accounting principles
* Proactive attitude and ownership mindset
* Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to prioritize tasks effectively, with strong organizational skills and high accuracy
* Knowledge of Navision and Qliksense
