The degree program should have been a minimum of two years in duration. /li liAlternatively, qualifications from a marine or nautical institution and relevant sea‑going experience as a certificated ship's officer will also be considered. /li liMembership in an appropriate professional institution or working towards/pursuing Chartered or Incorporated Engineering status. /li liAdherence to professional codes of conduct and the LR Code of Ethics in IMS01. /li liThe ability to utilize a combination of general and specialist engineering knowledge and understanding to apply existing and emerging technology. /li liCapability to apply suitable theoretical and practical methods to design, develop, manufacture, construct, commission, operate, and maintain engineering products, processes, systems, and services. /li liProficiency in technical and commercial management, such as project management and process management. /li liProficiency in the English language that is suitable for the nature of the work. /li /ul h3Preferred But Not Required /h3 ul liClassification Society experience. /li /ul h3You Are Someone Who /h3 ul liIs keen to take accountability and ownership for delivering customer needs. /li liIs able to self‑manage and prioritize tasks towards achieving goals. /li liIs effective at solving problems, trouble‑shooting and making timely decisions. /li liIs flexible and eager to take initiatives. /li liCommunicates in a structured way and has ability to present technical ideas in user‑friendly language. /li liDisplays a team spirit, particularly in a multicultural environment. /li liResponds positively to learning opportunities and is comfortable stepping out of own comfort zone. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
