You’ll collaborate with both engineers, Product Managers, clients, and vendors. You will guide architectural decisions and ensure the secure, scalable, and maintainable delivery of mobile backend solutions. /ph3Key Responsibilities: /h3h3Technical Leadership Execution /h3ullipDefine and document backend technical requirements for mobile features. /p /lilipLead architectural decisions and implementation for Consumer-facing and Store associate-facing apps /p /lilipEnsure high-quality, performant, and maintainable code through technical oversight and hands-on development. /p /lilipMaintain and evolve technical documentation to reflect current systems and processes. /p /lilipStrategize and address backend security concerns, including real-time mitigation of malicious activity and compliance with data deletion protocols. /p /li /ulh3Client Vendor Collaboration /h3ullipServe as a key technical liaison for client and vendor teams (e.g., website platform, payment providers). /p /lilipProvide responses to non-emergency technical issues during ET business hours (9am–3pm). /p /lilipLead emergency support during designated off-hours (weekday evenings and weekends). /p /lilipRepresent engineering in cross-functional calls. /p /li /ulh3Team Leadership Mentorship /h3ullipProvide project leadership and operational oversight for backend developers in collaboration with product managers. /p /lilipSet and enforce backend coding standards, review code, and maintain the CI/CD pipeline. /p /lilipMentor engineers, foster a collaborative culture, and drive continuous improvement across the engineering team. /p /li /ulh3Security Compliance /h3ullipEnforce secure coding and architectural best practices across backend systems. /p /lilipOversee client-driven data deletion workflows and protect against vulnerabilities. /p /li /ulh3Required Skills Experience /h3ullipBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science with minimum 6 years in backend engineering roles, (incl. 2+ years in technical leadership.) /p /lilipProven experience with mobile backend systems and API development. /p /lilipDeep knowledge of: /p /liullipAWS /p /lilipNodejs /p /lilipSalesforce OCAPI/API /p /lilipThird-party integrations for mobile /p /lilipCMS-backed content systems /p /li /ullipDemonstrated experience with backend deployment processes and CI/CD management. /p /lilipExceptional ability to analyze and resolve technical issues with scalable solutions. /p /lilipStrong client-facing communication and cross-functional team collaboration skills. /p /lilipExperience working in Agile product teams. /p /lilipStrong business proficiency in English and adept at delivering both confidence and humility in communication. /p /li /ulullipExposure to high-scale consumer-facing mobile apps. /p /lilipFamiliarity with e-commerce security standards and architecture patterns. /p /lilipAvailability across US Eastern Time business hours and emergency support windows. /p /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
