Responsibilities
* Partner with clients to understand their business needs, define functional requirements, and recommend insight-driven, data-informed solutions.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business objectives into actionable technical plans, solution designs, and clear deliverables.
* Review and interpret source data to understand its structure, content, and relevance to client requirements.
* Convert complex datasets and findings into clear, meaningful insights and develop dashboards or summaries that support executive-level decision-making.
* Work closely with customers to understand their challenges, explore their data, and identify information that supports effective problem-solving.
* Provide customers with a clear understanding of their data: what it represents, how it can be used, and its value in guiding operational decisions.
* Actively participate in team meetings, design discussions, and peer reviews to ensure high-quality technical and functional outputs.
* Demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
* Contribute expertise to complex assignments that require analytical thinking, creativity, and innovative approaches.
* Exercise autonomy in shaping methodologies, recommending solutions, and presenting technical findings.
* Work independently with minimal supervision while consistently delivering accurate, high-quality results.
This position description outlines the core duties for this role, but it is not all-inclusive. Responsibilities may shift based on contract requirements, mission needs, or organizational objectives. Position is contingent upon contract award.
Requirements
* Five (5) or more years of related professional experience.
* Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance, granted by the US Government as needed, which requires US citizenship. The government also uses 13 adjudicative guidelines to determine an individual's eligibility.
* High emotional intelligence with strong analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, and written/verbal communication skills.
* Solid understanding of data governance and data-management best practices.
* Self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines independently, and operate effectively in a complex matrix environment.
* Proven ability to understand stakeholder needs, communicate development plans clearly, and track progress toward key milestones.
* Willingness to obtain relevant certifications as required by future client or contract needs.
* Must be comfortable working onsite full-time at MacDill AFB, with occasional (estimated 5%) domestic travel.
Preferred
* Active (Top) Secret clearance granted by the US Government.
* Experience with Maven Smart Systems (MSS), Qlik dashboarding, development functions, and mashups.
* Prior logistics, DoD/military, and/or government contracting experience.
* Quantitative skills, including statistical analysis, process design, and data management.
