Position – Role required GMM is seeking an employee for a Level 1 IT Support role as part of its ongoing evolution. Job Description The Level 1 IT Support will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining workstations, ensuring proper hardware and software functioning both internally and at external sites via remote support tools. Key Activities Include Workstation management: installation, configuration, and maintenance of PCs, peripherals, and network devices (access points, meeting rooms, printers, PBX systems); Technical support: first-level support for hardware/software issues and troubleshooting external connections (FTP, VPN); Software and update management: installation and maintenance of corporate programs, system updates, and email account management; User and security management: creating and managing employee profiles, network permissions, and monitoring IT system operations; Backup and disaster recovery: data control, management, and recovery; Supplier and consultant interface: coordinating IT activities with external companies and managing contracts for telephony, servers, and firewalls; Hardware maintenance and disposal: managing IT inventory and securely erasing data from obsolete equipment. Experience And Skills Hardware and software: knowledge of computer internals, hardware/software architectures, and network components; Operating Systems: experience with Windows Server, Windows 7/10/11, Android, iOS, and client management (domain joining, configuration); Networking and Security: fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Firewall, Wi-Fi, Access Points) and knowledge of key infrastructure services; IT Software: experience with backup solutions, firewalls, Microsoft Office, and email; User and security management: familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory, antivirus systems, and security policies (desirable). The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, listening, and communication skills essential for understanding and supporting users effectively. Autonomy and proactivity to anticipate needs and propose solutions, along with problem-solving skills to quickly identify causes and implement corrective actions, are also required.
