As a member of the Space, Defence & Operations team, you will play a crucial role in supporting major national and international engineering projects in the space sector, with a focus on Telecommunication. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with international teams and space agencies such as ASI, ESA, and NASA. The tasks range from requirement definition and verification to the design of complex systems, support during implementation phases, performance validation, and designing, testing, and executing operational procedures for space operations.
Requirements:
* Master's degree in Telecommunication Engineering or Information and Communication Technologies (ICT)
* A Master's in Automation or System Control Engineering is considered a plus
* Preferably 2 years of experience in the Aerospace and Defense sector
* In-depth knowledge of Telecommunication
* Knowledge of wireless communications
* Familiarity with Aerospace and System engineering fundamentals
* Knowledge of GNSS is considered a plus
* Advanced English proficiency
* Eligibility for National Security Clearance
Responsibilities:
* Conduct state-of-the-art reviews of complex systems
* Design telecommunication link budgets in space and challenging scenarios
* Design and develop telecommunication systems in Electronic Warfare contexts
* Design and implement mission operations
* Perform System Engineering activities
* Test and verify complex systems for validation activities
* Provide technical support for new project proposals
