Ph3ITOT and Automation Site Head – Torre, Italy /h3 pbNovartis Italia /b /p pSite Information Technology Operational Technology (ITOT) and Automation Head is responsible for leading the Site ITOT organization, ensuring the establishment, maintenance, and improvement of automation and IT processes related to control systems, equipment, IT applications and utilities on site. /p pThe role sits on the site and engages the Site Leadership Team to understand site strategy, priorities and challenges, enabling the role to drive the site Automation Digitalization roadmap. Drive innovation and impact through cutting‑edge robotics, automation, and AI as the leader of integrated ITOT at a world‑class pharmaceutical site. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liOverall accountable to drive the digital automation roadmap for the site across all areas, ensuring the site achieves expected benefits of digital and automation investments. /li liManage the site ITOT team consisting of automation and IT associates. /li liAlign with Global and Platform ITOT Heads on the ITOT strategic direction for the site. /li liWork with Global ITOT teams to support delivery of projects and initiatives. /li liEnsure effective deployment and adoption of global digital automation solutions on site level. /li liCommunicate and coordinate with key stakeholders in the site leadership team on both operational and project activities. /li liManage the budget and project pipeline for the team. /li liSupport capital projects and smooth transitions to operations. /li liEnsure site audit readiness for IT and OT. /li liEnsure 24x7 support and high reliability for ITOT systems. /li liDrive digital upskilling and change management across the user community on site. /li liOversee team performance and provide feedback. /li liDevelop and implement maintenance and upgrade plans. /li liEnsure compliance with GMP regulations and security protocols. /li liCoordinate with vendors and partners for support and procurement. /li /ul h3Essential Requirements /h3 ul liBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Automation, Engineering or a related field. /li liMinimum of 7 years of experience in Automation or IT, in a GMP Pharma environment. /li liStrong knowledge of automation systems and IT infrastructure. /li liStrong leadership and team management skills. /li liExcellent communication and interpersonal skills. /li liAbility to drive automation and digitalization agenda and increase site automation level. /li liProven experience in managing budgets and project pipelines. /li liFamiliarity with GMP regulations and compliance standards. /li liAbility to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and key stakeholders. /li /ul h3Commitment to Diversity Inclusion /h3 pWe are committed to building an outstanding, inclusive work environment and diverse teams representative of the patients and communities we serve. /p h3Location /h3 pThis role is based in Torre Annunziata.
