POur client, a leading global provider of transportation, is looking for an strongAccounts Payable Specialist /strong. /ppbr / /ppHe/She will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting and finance function within the Accounting Team and hierarchically report to Accounts Manager. /ppbr / /ppstrongMain responsibilities /strong /ppbr / /pulliUpdate supplier information /liliManage collection of all documentation required for accounts payable processing, including purchase orders, contracts, service reports, and delivery notes /liliRecord supplier invoices, debit notes, and credit notes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies /liliPerform accruals for unbilled costs and costs to be accrued, in line with accounting principles and closing deadlines /liliAnalyze cost variances against budget and forecasts, highlighting any significant discrepancies /liliLiaise with suppliers to resolve discrepancies, billing issues, and disputes /liliReconcile supplier accounts and prepare periodic reports on outstanding invoices and disputes /liliMonitor payment deadlines and support the execution of payment runs, reporting any issues or delays /liliPerform any additional administrative or accounting tasks assigned by management. /li /ulpbr / /ppstrongKnowledge, skills and Abilities /strong /ppbr / /ppThe ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Finance or equivalent. At least three years of relevant accounting and finance experience in strongshipping logistics industry /strong.
