Mechanical Testing EngineerPosition located in the HQ team based in Quattordio (AL), reporting directly to the R&D testing laboratory Director.
Be in charge of mechanical tests on submarine cable systems to assess their capability to withstand mechanical stresses.
Set up optimized test circuitry, measure instruments, and liaise with internal customers and engineering teams (HQ departments or local R&D) to understand project needs.
Coordinate laboratory operators involved in testing, run the testing activities and analyse the test results.
Define the scheduling of tests and lead R&D related projects.
Around 2 years of experience in testing laboratories.
Fluent in English both written and spoken.
A master's degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
