Overview
The Supplier Fulfillment Specialist is responsible for activities related to suppliers' promise integrity (purchase, orders, fulfillment). From a delivery point of view, the role mitigates supplier risk and supports the Supplier Assessment team in executing improvement plans when issues occur. The specialist guarantees on‑time delivery for critical parts affecting plant performance, monitors KPIs, implements action plans, prevents customer impact, reduces delinquency, and minimizes inventory in coordination with MRP planners. The role requires site visits to supplier facilities to verify work‑in‑progress status and enforce corrective actions.
Reporting & Collaboration
Reports directly to the Procurement team in the Sourcing Organization and is co‑located in the relevant commodity. Escalations are referred to the Procurement leader. The specialist collaborates with Supplier Quality Engineers, Engineering teams, Plants, Finance and other internal stakeholders to coordinate improvement action plans and resolve issues.
Essential Responsibilities
* Ensure timely deliveries on contract requirements for Critical Parts only – Short‑term view including equation requests
* Knowledge of planning and MRP system
* Resolve delivery issues
* Recovery plans creation and Management
* Enable communication with Quality, Engineering, Plants, Finance and Commodity to resolve delivery Issues
* Strategize to expedite deliveries
* KPI communication, analysis, reconciliation with supplier and improvement recovery actions
* On‑site visit suppliers when necessary
* End‑User flow/ data management
* Order book review
* Payment issue
* Input material control and Inventory management support
Qualifications / Requirements
* Scientific Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
* Knowledge of the sourcing field and significant experience in Procurement/ Fulfillment role
* Previous experience in materials planning with foreign Suppliers
* SAP Knowledge
* Fluent in Italian and English
* Strong oral and written communication skills
* Attitude to work in a cross‑functional teamwork environment
* Flexible time work
* Availability to travel in Italy and abroad
* Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required
