Site Verification & Validation Engineer to join its team in Chieti within the Digital Product & Platform Engineering Department.MissionThe Verification & Validation Engineer focuses on ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products through rigorous testing and verification activities. You will work closely with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to develop test plans, and execute test cases to validate software functionality and performance. The ideal candidate has a good background in software verification and testing methodologies, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.Key AccountabilitiesTest Planning and StrategyDevelop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on requirements and design specifications.Testing ExecutionExecute functional, regression, performance, and system integration tests.Conduct manual and automated testing to ensure software quality and reliability.Identify, analyze, and document defects and inconsistencies in software behavior.Verification ActivitiesVerify software requirements and design and ensure they are implemented correctly.Validation ActivitiesValidate software functionality against defined SW requirements, user needs and intended use cases.DocumentationPrepare and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test reports, and test summaries.Document and communicate test results to stakeholders.Continuous ImprovementIdentify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in the software testing lifecycle.Recommend and implement improvements to testing methodologies, tools, and techniques.Collaboration and CommunicationCollaborate with software developers and cross-functional teams to resolve issues and verify bug fixes.Communicate testing progress, results, and risks to project stakeholders.EducationBachelor’s Degree in Electronic/TLC Engineering or Aerospace EngineeringMaster’s Degree in Electronic/TLC Engineering or Aerospace EngineeringQualificationsExperience as a Verification and Validation Engineer or similar role, preferably in the software industry and in embedded safety-critical domain.Knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools and processes, in safety-critical and aviation domain (DO-178C) is a plus.Knowledge of programming languages (e.G.
