For more information please visit: www.lincotek.com.For our headquarter in Rubbiano (PR) we are looking for a Junior Metrologist who will be responsible for dimensional checks and measurement activities on mechanical components using precision instruments such as Structured Light Scanners and CMM machines.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:Performing measurements and dimensional checks using measuring instruments and advanced softwareDetailed analysis and interpretation of 2D technical drawingsVerifying dimensional and geometric tolerancesUsing CAD software and measuring tools (SolidWorks, PCDMIS, Atos/G-Inspect/Z-Inspect, calipers, micrometers…)Developing Python programs for automating measurement tasks and data analysisPreparing technical reports in both Italian and EnglishSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:This role does not include supervision of other team members.EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: High school diploma in Mechanical Engineering, ITS with a mechanical focus, Bachelor#39;s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent education/experienceNo prior experience in the role is required; on-the-job training will be providedEnglish language proficiency required (B2/C1 level)SKILLS:Technical:Knowledge of technical drawing and tolerances (datum, linear and geometric tolerances)Proficiency in CAD software (preferably SolidWorks)Python programming skills (even a beginner level is acceptable, to be developed over time)Basic knowledge of measuring instrumentsSoft Skills:Strong willingness to learnAbility to work independentlyProactivity and attention to detailPassion for mechanics and metrologyGood communication skillsWORK ENVIRONMENT:Plant located in Rubbiano (PR)PHYSICAL DEMAND:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
