Main purpose of the roleThe new resource will be part of the Group Regulatory Affairs Team and will work on ensuring the compliance of the company's confectionery products (chewing gum, candies, bars, conventional products, food supplements, and enriched products) with European laws and technical standards applicable to the Food Industry, as well as the Group's policies.What you will doMonitor, verify, and study food and labeling regulations and technical standards, including their possible revisions;Share information on food and labeling legislation/standards with other functions within the organization;Work closely with Marketing to support projects and provide advice under the supervision of the Manager;Support RD on additives, raw materials, ingredients, and other technical aspects;Ensure product compliance with national food legislation/standards of the involved territories;Prepare and issue ingredient lists and nutrition information based on recipes shared by the RD team;Review product labels to provide final approval according to local regulations, ensuring compliance;Participate in trade association meetings, prepare reports, and monitor bulletins;Manage and work with the Regulatory Company database.Our Perfect CandidateDegree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field;At least 3 years of experience in Regulatory Affairs, RD, or Quality within multinational food companies operating in the EU;Excellent knowledge of English; proficiency in German is a plus;Good understanding of food and labeling laws in Europe;Experience in preparing ingredient lists and nutritional information from raw material data;Knowledge of food supplements, including vitamins and minerals;Strong analytical skills to evaluate legislation, assess impacts on products, and communicate key information effectively;Ability to integrate scientific knowledge with legal aspects;Quick comprehension of legislation and emerging issues;High accuracy and attention to detail;Research skills from multiple sources;Enthusiasm for learning and analyzing legislation;Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Italian.Here at Perfetti Van Melle, we foster a culture of respect and value diversity.Our application, recruitment, and development processes are open to all individuals without discrimination.
