Job Description Based in Milan or Rome, as an Underwriting Governance Specialist within the Reinsurance & Governance function you will assist and support GC&C; Italy Underwriting in properly satisfy compliance, governance and responsible applicable regulatory framework while contributing to the successful achievement of the underwriting business strategy and targets.
Main responsibilities / tasks:
assist and support GC&CI;'s Lobs in performing the underwriting activities in compliance with internal and external applicable regulations and guidelines including related parties, data protection, international sanctions, governance, internal audit, distribution agreements, facultative reinsurance and responsible underwriting
provide, manage and analyse the required compliance and governance reporting activities
being a proactive GC&CI; Underwriting's point of reference for all the Compliance, Audit and Governance Company / Group's functions and activities
analyse, monitor, update and, when required, transpose and implement relevant Company's regulations, guidelines and operating procedures
Requirements
Our ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
bachelor's or master's degree in Law or Economics
at least five years of previous experience as compliance or underwriting governance specialist in P&C; Insurance environment with a tangible familiarity with the Corporate and Commercial segment
fluent in English (minimum B2 level) and Italian
strong ability to work in team
excellent communication and relationship skills
excellent organization and time management
good command of main IT packages (Office, MS Teams, Co-pilot)
